Today has been quite a useless day. The sky is depressing, it's starting to rain, there is no reason to leave my dorm. Not even the tantalizing fantasy of much needed food and water has been able to drag me out of my bed. And instead of getting a head start on a history paper with a looming due date, I've been watching Skins and stuffing my tummy with sunflower seeds. I usually try to be as lazy as possible on the weekends since it's the only break I get from reality, but today is a whole new level. I'm not going to fight it. Here are two songs that I've been chilling out to today,
Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix) by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and
Wildcat by Ratatat. Give them a listen, their impossible not to love. These bands have only enhanced my happiness and laziness.
Here's something else fabulous that's been increasing my happiness:
Otters are the most adorable little critters. Their silly and feisty and love hanging out. If I have any sort of spirit animal, I'm positive it's an otter. Otters just give me such a warm feeling. Who knows why.
so i spent my day listening to those same damn songs and it was marvelous. then i spent a bunch of hours thinking about nonsense as usual, which resulted in my recent blog post. I love skins. i freaking LOVE otters. picking food like sunflower seeds are wonderful... and bed city is AMAZING. i would never leave it if i could! so idk what youre talking about, your day sounds wonderful.
